Columbine teachers certified

The Boulder Valley School District Board of Directors recently honored four teachers from Columbine Elementary for achieving the advanced teaching credential of National Board Certification.

The Columbine teachers, Silvia Latimer, Melissa Oviatt, Jeanette Scotti and Anne Upczak-Garcia, all achieved certification on their first try by successfully finishing a voluntary assessment that recognizes teachers who meet high standards.
