As three members of Russian punk band Pussy Riot start serving two-year sentences for an anti-Putin performance in a Moscow cathedral, other members of the group announced on Twitter that they’d fled Russia to avoid arrest.

The group, which has as many as 15 members, said the members had fled to recruit foreign feminists for further protests against the Russian government and Vladimir Putin.

The three members now in jail performed in the cathedral wearing colorful masks, along with two other members who were never arrested by Moscow police.
