The spot ahead of Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney reads “To Be Announced” on the official schedule, but a leak from a GOP source to Fox News has confirmed that actor and director Clint Eastwood will be appearing at the Republican National Convention.
Eastwood, whose next film is set to release Sept. 21, endorsed Romney earlier this year, as he did with Sen. John McCain four years ago.
