AntiSec, a hacking group spun off from Internet ne’er-do-wells Anonymous, has announced that it stole 1 million or more Apple user IDs from an FBI database.

The database, which includes loads of Apple user information including Unique Device Identifiers, or UDID, user names, device types, cell phone numbers, zipcodes and addresses, is maintained by the FBI for unknown reasons, AntiSec said in a web posting.

The group said the information could be used to track Apple users. It has released 1 million of the listings and claims it has more than 12 million.
