Sporting the red, white and blue, Wibby Brewing’s Home Town Pilsner certainly drank deliciously over the Fourth of July. But just because the month’s coming to a close doesn’t mean you need to abandon the classic-leaning German Pilsner loaded with Crystal hops and sweet, grainy malt. The nose is floral, kind of like fresh-cut grass with a hint of citrus. The flavor is predominantly cereal grains with a touch of nutmeg on the back. It’ll go great with a bag of peanuts and your sport of choice, but, for enhanced refreshment, crack one by the pool.
