There is no better place to experience unique flavors, and no better setting to do it in, than the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse. But you already knew that. We stopped by for a recent al-fresco dining experience, and ordered the lapsang souchong bulgogi. Beef roasted in the aforementioned smoky tea is combined with spicy cucumbers and peppers atop butter lettuce, for a flavor-packed handheld bite. The spicy Korean dipping sauce is rich in umami and bright with heat, and the side sesame noodle salad is a satisfying carbo-boost between each of the lettuce wraps.
