More snowfall is in the forecast Thursday, though it won’t
be quite as heavy as yesterday.

A day after parts of Boulder County were hit with 17 inches
of snow, 3-5 new inches are expected, with areas of the foothills possibly
seeing up to 8 more inches.

A winter storm warning will remain in effect until 6 p.m. Winds
ranging from 20-40 miles an hour could also produce areas of drifting snow,
creating poor driving conditions.

Boulder Valley School District closed schools for the second
straight day. St. Vrain Valley School District is also closed.

The University of Colorado’s campus is remaining open.
