Boulder Museum of
Contemporary Boulder — Young Artists at Work



For ages 5–12. March 27, May 29, November 20, and December 18. Young Artists at Work is BMoCA’s signature series of immersive art-making day camps, featuring individualized workshops designed by visiting artists around inspired themes and the museum’s exhibitions. With a different theme each day, workshops explore multiple mediums and concepts, including collage, painting, sculpture, photography, fiber art, and more. Cost: $80, $75 for BMoCA members. Dawson Summer Camps



Come join us this summer for seven weeks of Dawson’s 70+ exciting summer camps and programs for ages 5-18. Camp hours are 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday. Between June 5 and Aug. 11, we will offer various weeklong day camps in academics, arts, music, drama, language, sports, cooking and specialty day camps. Campers will receive a full hot/cold lunch in our dining hall every day and take a break to cool off in the pool daily. Cost range: $285 to $395 per week. Fabricate Summer camp



Learn to sew in summer camp! Our experienced instructors will guide campers through fun-filled, weeklong, themed camps (9 a.m.-noon) including Teen Fashion, Sew and Swim, Quilt Week and more. We also offer afternoon drop-in day camps (2-4:30 p.m.) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students will learn practical skills such as how to use and maintain a sewing machine, wind a bobbin, read, cut and sew from a commercial sewing pattern, install a zipper, and lots more, ultimately constructing garments, accessories and home decor. With an unlimited variety of projects, our sewing students will build on fundamentals as they gain confidence and hone skills. Full-day options available. Living Arts School



Ages 6-12. Day camp. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Option of Early/Aftercare from 8:30-9 a.m. and 3-5 p.m.) Monday-Friday. At Living Arts Summer Camps, we offer your child the simple joy of making things with their hands. In a world that moves faster and faster, we advocate a slower, gentler experience, in a farmland setting that inspires creativity, connection and beauty. 2017 Summer Camps are all about Time Traveling. MACC Art Academy



MACC’s Summer Art Academy offers an extensive range of arts program for first-12th graders. The visual arts are vital to the development of your child’s imagination, self-esteem and interaction with the world. At MACC’s Art Academy, skilled artists, who are also experienced educators, nurture the creativity in every child. Students will have an intensive art experience using quality materials in a studio environment. Whether creating a life mask, drawing with quality materials, working in an actual clay studio or creating an environmental artwork, students will enjoy being immersed in art.

OPen Hands Arts Camp

Open Hands Art is a collaboration between ceramic artist Sue Allman and painter Page Zekonis. We offer a variety of weeklong camps for children ages 7-12, a middle school camp we call “Finding Your Muse,” and a mosaic arts camp for middle and high schoolers. Various camps run June 5 to Aug. 11.




PoshSplat is offering kids camp for ages 4-15 to improve their painting skills. Camp is offered Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., with a painting activity and lunch time for $24; or a longer day, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., with painting, a lunch break and another art activity with different materials for $40.

Get messy this summer and let your creativity run wild! Studio Arts and Pottery Camps are for kids, ages 6-16 and run in weeklong sessions from June 5 – Aug. 11. Summer Art Camps at the Pottery Lab include Jewelry, Print-Making and Clay Camps! Clay Camps themes include: Pet Monsters, Gardening in Clay, Fairy Tale Friends, Harry Potter-y, Dinosaurs, Wheel-Throwing, and more. Clay Camps are for beginner clay enthusiasts to expert potters. In our Studio Art Camps, kids can design their own t-shirt to take home using basic techniques in the Print-Making Camp or create their own jewelry in our Jewelry-Making Camp.

The Art Underground at the Arts HUB offers nearly 40 camps this summer in art, dance and theater including all-day camps, Fairy Camps, Play-Well Tek camps and IncrediFlix camps.  The Arts HUB is a new art center in Lafayette with a 196-seat theater, art room and dance rooms.
