Twitter’s Vine, an app that allows users to post brief videos, has apparently taken down several videos at the request of musician Prince.
NPG Records, Prince’s recording company, sent a request to Twitter March 22, asking Twitter to remove eight Vine videos that included “unauthorized recordings” and “unauthorized synchronizations.”
The links are no longer active, indicating that Twitter did take down the videos. As with all requests it receives, Twitter posted the requests on ChillingEffects.org.
